Description
These Kinder cookie bars, or Kinder blondies, are deliciously soft and chewy and filled with a layer of creamy Kinder bars.
Ingredients
Scale
- 190g unsalted butter
- 125g light brown sugar
- 100g caster sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 280g plain flour
- 1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 250g Kinder bars (20 x 12.5g bars)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (160°C for a fan oven)
- Grease and line a 9x9 inch cake tin (or 8x8 inch cake tin)
- In a large bowl, beat together the butter, brown sugar and caster sugar for 2-3 minutes, until light and creamy
- Add in the eggs and vanilla extract. Mix in for 2-3 minutes until fully combined
- Pour in the flour, bicarbonate of soda and salt. Gently mix for 2 minutes, being careful not to overmix the batter
- Pour half the cookie bar batter into the cake tin and smooth over
- Place the Kinder bars over the cookie batter, creating a layer of Kinder bars on top
- Pour over the remaining half of the cookie bar batter and smooth over
- Bake for 25-28 mins, until it has a slight wobble in the middle
- Optional - Top with remaining Kinder pieces
- Leave to cool completely in the tin, then slice into 16 pieces and enjoy!
Notes
If you use a 8x8 cake tin, you'll likely want to bake it closer to the 28 minutes
